Rammstein, a hard working band of East Germans, who got noticed by Trent Reznor in the 1990s and brought the industrial discipline, pomp and emotion of the Deutsche Neue Harte to the US to make pop history. Their influence has been reverberating ever since through the theatrics of their performance and the narrow stylistic lens through which Rammstein views the world - sex, debauchery, violence, tragedy. The band has gone so far as to influence Vetements and the wider fashion scene. We don't know why. We just dig Sensucht, and so should you.
